Georgia Mjartan, Central Carolina Community Foundation
Georgia Mjartan, President and CEO of Central Carolina Community Foundation, just finished a seven-year tenure as Executive Director of South Carolina First Steps, a statewide agency focused on early childhood. Georgia will share her experiences working with L4G as a nonprofit executive director and government agency leader, in which she scaled L4G across partners and used client feedback to inform statewide advocacy efforts.
Kelley Gulley, Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation
Kelley Gulley, Chief of Staff at the Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation, brings 30 years of experience in community and youth development, workforce development, building capacity in the nonprofit sector, and leading initiatives that engage residents in communities of color throughout the country. Kelley joins us to explore how the Blank Foundation has leveraged L4G as a source of insight and support for grantees across multiple portfolios. The Foundation has supported its organizations to take advantage of multiple offerings, including L4G Premium and L4G’s newest offerings, Learning Communities and Community Trends Reports.
Markita Morris-Louis, Compass Working Capital
Markita Morris-Louis, Esq. serves as Chief Executive Officer for Compass Working Capital, a national nonprofit engaging in policy advocacy, direct service, and capacity building to end asset poverty for families with low incomes and to narrow the racial and gender wealth divides. Compass participated in L4G before 2020, and has continued building upon their feedback experience to center equity in every aspect of Compass’ work. Come learn about their journey and feedback’s role as a catalyst!
