At Listen4Good, we aim to walk the walk — here’s how we’re responding to feedback from participating organizations to make our programs and services as responsive as possible to their needs.

What can we do better?

In 2025, we made updates in response to participating organizations’ feedback:

  • New and updated resources to make running feedback loops easier, including:
    • New tutorial videos on adding survey translations and creating collectors.
    • Updated guidance on onsite and offsite surveying methods, so organizations can choose the best approach for their survey audiences.
    • Clearer guidance for analyzing checkbox (“select all that apply”) questions.
  • Changes to web app navigation so users can more easily find the pages they need.
  • Expanded resources for Advanced programs users, including a data inventory tool, feedback practice diagnostic, and tools to keep client voice a priority during staff transitions.

In 2026, we’ll continue to respond to feedback. Planned changes include:

  • In light of many organizations’ reduced capacity at this time, we’re looking at ways to make L4G easier to complete without sacrificing impact, including:
    • Exploring AI enhancements for our tools and coaching to reduce the work of implementing feedback.
    • Making webinars more interactive and accessible, incorporating more breakout time and creating more accessible recordings with chapters for easier navigation.
    • Ensuring coaches are well-equipped to support organizations navigating today’s challenging external environment.
    • Piloting implementation support where L4G staff handle technical feedback tasks on organizations’ behalf (like programming surveys or designing recruitment materials).
  • New survey audiences in the L4G web app: Soon, users will be able to survey volunteers, partners, community members, and staff directly in L4G’s web app, plus access new benchmarks to compare results for these audiences with similar organizations.
  • More peer learning, including:
    • Learning Communities — L4G-facilitated convenings where nonprofit leaders and their funders review client feedback data together and learn from each other.
    • Community Trends Reporting — Reports that aggregate feedback across a Learning Community, giving both funders and nonprofits a broader view of what clients are saying and where there are common opportunities for improvement.

Thank you to all participating organizations for your feedback! Watch for our next survey — a chance to share insights and help us serve the field better.
